Travel Funding

In order to receive travel funding from CLTC to offset the cost of attending conferences, you must present at a roundtable (colloquium) during the school year in which you intend to present your work at an academic conference. If you are attending a conference during the summer, you must participate in a roundtable during the previous school year.

As soon as possible after you have participated in a roundtable, contact the current Faculty Supervisor of CLTC (Professor Jon Snyder of the French and Italian Department for 2010-2011), and email that faculty member a budget of projected expenses. The Faculty Supervisor will then inform you of the award, which has ranged in recent years from $200 to $400. Please do this before you attend the conference.

Please save all your tickets and receipts and prepare to submit them, along with evidence of your participation in the conference (a program with your name listed, for example). Currently the person to whom you must contact for a reimbursement form and to whom you should submit your materials is Rosa Pinter, in the French and Italian Department, who is available from 8:30 AM until noon.
